Head Lice
If your child is examined and live adult lice are found in his/her hair, he/she will be excluded from school. When your child returns to school after treatment, they will come to the clinic to have their head checked before returning to class.

Birthday Snack Policy
A "Birthday Snack Permission Form" will be sent home to parents at the beginning of the school year. Only children who return the signed form will be offered the snack.
If you plan to have a birthday snack, please contact front office 2 weeks prior to your event. This allows the school nurse to review the snack item and contact you if a different item should be selected due to food allergies in the classroom.
This is a good reason to consider an alternative birthday treat such as a toy from the dollar store or class pencils. All can participate and not worry about allergies!
