Klein ISD Board of Trustees Approve 2024-2025 Academic Calendar
The Klein ISD Board of Trustees has officially approved the 2024-2025 academic calendar. The decision was made unanimously during the board meeting on November 13, 2023.
A district-wide survey conducted from September 29 to October 20, 2023, collected feedback from stakeholders comprising staff, parents, students, and community members. The survey presented three proposed calendars for evaluation where participants could rank their calendar preferences.
The results indicated a clear preference for Option A, which received the majority of support from all groups.
Survey Highlights:
- 58% of all survey participants and 76% of Klein ISD employees favored Option A.
- Calendar A was the top selection across all stakeholder groups.
The approved Calendar A includes an August 14, 2024, start date, several strategic breaks during the academic year, and concludes on May 30, 2025.
The district extends its gratitude to everyone who participated in the survey.
